About The HyperLink

It is July 2023 at the time of writing, and the internet is in a pretty dire place. We’re tired of every platform getting enshittified, billionaire buyouts, and the pivot towards monetization. We’re starting with the most sustainable business plan possible, and collaboratively adjust in dialog with creators, communities, and users.

The HyperLink is a web cooperative that is focused on building platforms for meaningful social interaction. Our first initiative is the Friendscape platform.

Founded by two brothers Mike Britton & Will Thompson - The HyperLink is on a mission to bring back some of what made the web fun.
