A lot more progress was made today and I've started putting together a proper mockup with the React components to get a feel for the click path. I feel like I started the last post kinda ike that but that's a good thing I guess!
While I was cruising through some of this last night I had Casino up on my TV, which I had never seen before even though it's a classic. Man oh man it's a long movie! Today's background noise of choise was Self/less - and let me tell ya - I love a good body swap. I just had Freaky Friday on the other day, too... I'm sensing a pattern. What am I supposed to be talking about? Oh, yeah the progress.
I think the biggest lift of today was refactoring the tabbed thread starting point into a component that can be reused in a lot of different places. In the long run it'll make upkeep and any updates a lot easier but it's been kinda not my favorite thing to do haha. Oh well I want this thing to work well so I'll put in the effort. The tabbed component can now be found in a few places:

Honestly this repo started as just messing around with nextjs data fetching and morphed into a proper POC so I just haven't set up a proper workflow there. Hey, why am I explaining myself to you? I don't care if you think that's bad. I know it is and that's punishment enough! Below is a little gif of a clickthrough of the pages so far.
My DigitalOcean spaces instance is having an outage at the moment so all of these pics and gifs are posted to discord and then embedded here, I hope they don't get nuked anytime soon. The gif below is a gif recording of a quicktime recording of my desktop because it's late and I don't feel like booting the server back up. It's lookin' real nice.
